The story of Taronga’s dead baby elephant inspires me
Did you read about the baby elephant born at Taronga Zoo? Initially the team thought this little baby elephant was dead http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/taronga-zoos-dead-baby-elephant-born-alive/story-e6frg6n6-1225839029375.
The team watched the mother go through a very difficult labour. There was incredible sensitivity and love on their faces. The mother showed incredible strength and courage through the labour and the events that occurred after the birth. The elephants around showed respect, compassion and understanding and stood by her side in her time of need. This story made me cry, it made me laugh, love mankind, love animals, love life… it really inspired me. I hope it inspires you too.
